Karolis Misiunas has been named among the 30 most influential Europeans under 30 by Forbes Magazine in a category of "Science and Health Care". He is currently undertaking a PhD in Dr Ulrich Keyser's laboratory, where he studies Brownian motion in small channels. He specifically examines what happened to these interactions as particles pass through channels, information that is critical for research involving channels or protein pores.
