Seminar series in Cavendish

Note the two new seminar series in Cavendish, replacing the previous BSS series.

BSS is involved in organising two seminar series in the Cavendish Lab, within the two research themes of "Biological and Biomedical Physics", and "Assembly and Function of Complex Systems".   They are listed on talks.ac.ac.uk and you can include them in your online calendar from the links

They are coordinated to take place on 4pm Friday slots.

Welcome new faculty colleague - Dr Diana Fusco

Dr Diana Fusco has joined the Cavendish this Summer with a Lectureship, to set up a mixed experimental/computational research programme in biological physics. Her team will initially investigate microbial populations, growth and evolution, interactions between bacteria and phages.
